Sentricon is a termite control system that works where termites live, making it an effective tool for termite extermination.

How Sentricon Works

The Sentricon System works by utilizing a targeting approach that takes advantage of the termite’s behavior and biology to eliminate the Queen and then the entire colony. The Sentricon System is considered more effective than termiticide because Termites can still enter the home through the foundation of the house in which termiticide is not able to reach.

Sentricon contains an active ingredient known as Noviflumuron which exploits the natural behavior and biology of termites. It is ingested by worker termites who are foraging for food and brought back to the colony to feed the other termites. This strategy is highly effective because termites prefer the Sentricon over wood. Essentially, the termites will continue to feed on the Sentricon until the entire colony is eliminated.

What Are the Benefits?

The benefits of using the Sentricon System is that there is no digging or trenching, no structural drilling, and there is no use of chemical injections in the ground. It has the ability to wipe out entire colonies of termites without requiring heavy trucks or machinery that would otherwise damage the landscaping. Since termiticide is not used in the Sentricon System, there are no worries of termiticide affecting your lawn or garden.
